Through the generous support of ECOWISE, the design work of the Level 3 substation has been donated to assist with the HOME Project. Our thanks and appreciation to Mark Larsen – Chief Executive Officer of ECOWISE and to Doug Hourigan for their cooperation in this matter.

The fantastic support of Ernst & Young is greatly appreciated. They provided the construction of the HOME in Queanbeyan Data Base through employee Nicholas Jaszczyk and are also keen to provide financial support of the project through their Local Focus Charity Grants of which a submission has been made for their support. Geoff Knuckey of Ernst & Young (ACT) has also offered support of HOME functions by way of providing staff to assist the HOME Board of Management.

Baker Deane & Nutt - Bill Baker is a wonderful community minded person and is represented on various organisations in Queanbeyan. His support of the HOME in Queanbeyan Project is acknowledged by way of an annual financial contribution by Baker Deane & Nutt and also through his personal interest in our Project. As Chairman of the Queanbeyan Business Council (BEC), he has offered their support to assist with a major fundraising activity. This being the HOME in Queanbeyan Business Breakfast to be held on May 27.

Queanbeyan Anglican Church - The HOME in Queanbeyan Project has been an initiative of many of the Churches in Queanbeyan. Through negotiation HOME has acquired, under a 25 year lease, property on the corner of Crawford and Rutledge Streets belonging to the Anglican Church for the purpose of renovating the existing Parish Hall – a heritage listed building. This building will house a communal dining area, a kitchen and office space for the administration of the HOME Project with the area behind the Hall being used to construct the 20 apartments.

HOME is pleased to acknowledge the tremendous support it receives from various community based organisations including support from a number of Rotary Clubs in the region.

4D Surveying (formerly Wilden Williams Surveyors) strive to always deliver. The HOME project has received the “extra dimension” from 4D Surveying meaning they have gone out of their way to deliver and assist our organisation in everyway. If you need someone to try harder for you, ensure you receive a better end product and better value delivered through a better service experience – then – call 4D or visit their website 4Dsurveying.com.au

Grey Worldwide who have donated their imagination and artistry to HOME;

These Catholic Colleges who got together late last year to raise over $20,000 by hosting a lavish four-course dinner - prepared by over 70 teachers and students representing their respective hospitality school; Thanks, St Clare's College, Merici College, St Edmund's College, Daramalan College, and MacKillop College.

Our local Newspaper, The Queanbeyan Age, has also been a wonderful supporter. In particular, we acknowledge the editorial efforts of Trudy Woods who, through her writing, has highlighted the plight of the mentally ill in our region and the dire need to provide comprehensive supported accommodation.

We also pay tribute to those individuals who, through small (and not so small), personal donations have ensured a constant trickle of support for HOME - not to mention the kindy-kids who put-on a Christmas play which raised significant money for our initiative.

....Thanks!
